"Ten Bucks" finished shooting Saturday, December 7, in Santa Monica. The film was shot on the "7th Heaven" promenade set. David has revealed that for the next four years, he will be in film school and will no longer be seen in movies, or even television. He says it is too difficult to do acting as well as school. From how he sounded, it seems as though directing will be the major focus for the rest of his career, not acting. David's statement has contradicted what he has previously said - that he'll make guest appearances on "7th Heaven" and will star in movies during breaks from film school. Only time will tell what he decides to do. David also revealed that he has just completed a screenplay with his best friend and room-mate, Doug, and he plans to have it registered and sent to Sony fairly soon. He is extremely excited, and hopes the screenplay will be made into a movie.

At Ktla.com, they have an interview with David about his role on "7th Heaven", his future in acting, and his hopes to attend film school at USC. It is a very good interview, he reveals a lot of the goals he has planned to achieve over the next few years.

"After a violent storm destroys Sora's home, he sets out to find his missing friends, Riku and Kairi. They then learn of the Heartless, who are planning to steal the souls of innocents..."
Above is the plot synopsis for the Square/Disney game that is "Kingdom Hearts". If you are still unaware, "Kingdom Hearts" is the Playstation2 game in which David is voicing one of the characters, Riku. A sequel to "Kingdom Hearts" is beginning production, however we are yet to hear if David will be reprising his role.

"Coldwater", David's highly anticipated new movie, now has its own official website at ColdwatertheMovie.com, and a Yahoo! Group. While browsing through these, you can see pictures, view the presentation trailer, read some script excerpts and more. The producers are currently asking for member opinions on whether to give Coldwater a PG-13 or R rating. Here are a few details about David's character, Brad Lunders, and the plot line of Coldwater:
Seventeen-year-old Brad Lunders was one of the quiet ones, softly spoken and mysterious to all of the residents of Coldwater. But when Brad's father dies, things begin to change. He lives with his dysfunctional mother and step-father who, from Brad's perspective, are too busy with their own problems to ever give him the attention he thinks he deserves. Brad and his friends soon become famous for tagging cars, under-aged drinking and causing trouble. Before they know it, they've been sentenced to a remote juvenile detention facility called Hockley Ranch. Once there, they're introduced to Colonel Timberland, whose idea of rehabilitation is more along the lines of mental and physical torture. The friends unite to bring down the sadistic Colonel and they make a promise that leads to many life-changing experiences. This movie will make you laugh, cry and sure as hell make you think.

Los Angeles, Calif., May 14, 2002
Square Co., Ltd., (Square) and Disney Interactive today announced the all-star voice cast for "Kingdom Hearts", the 3D action role-playing game for the Playstation2. The player will assume the role of the lead character, Sora, voiced by Haley Joel Osment. Osment will lead an all-star voice cast, which includes David Gallagher as Riku and Hayden Panettiere as Kairi. "Kingdom Hearts" will also feature the voice talents of Sean Astin, Lance Bass, David Boreanaz, Mandy Moore and Christy Romano. In addition, many of the original Disney voice actors are reprising their roles.

David has decided to quit "7th Heaven" because of college, realizing that it is impossible for him to commit himself to the show and attend college. This statement has now been confirmed from many different sources, but David has said that he may be returning on a regular basis for guest appearances.

"Four boys are sent to juvenile detention camp in the middle of nowhere, where they unite to bring down the brutally abusive Colonel, who has a chip on his shoulder for the troubled youth..."
David's upcoming movie, "Coldwater", gives him the role of a troubled youth named Brad Lunders. Together with Brad's three friends, they will embark on a life changing journey.
David felt it was time to play a completely different type of character than that of which he has previously portrayed. He's been working hard with the writer and director team of Vincent Grashaw and Sean Michael of "MicShaw" Productions since January of 2002 to produce and procure a proper budget for the film. "Coldwater" is hopefully going to be David's break through film, as he is both producing and starring in the film.
