As America's preteen girls already know, David Gallagher - who plays Simon on 7th Heaven - will head off to college this fall. How will this blond cutie's real-life academic plans affect Simon's fictional life? Will he go the way of Jessica Biel and Barry Watson, who've flown the Camden coop, returning only for brief guest stints? "Honestly, I don't know," Gallagher tells TV Guide Online. I'm waiting on NYU and USC, and they don't send back [acceptance letters] until April 1. So as soon as I get that USC letter, that'll really determine it, because that's my first choice, USC." Meanwhile, has Gallagher's life changed much since he turned 18 on Feb. 9? "It doesn't feel different," the sweet-natured kid shrugs. "I have to go sign up for the draft, I guess. Other than that, I can excuse myself from school, I can vote, and I guess I can get into some clubs. Eh, but everyone has a fake ID for that anyway. Not me ..." |
